While working on this “growth startup” within Lyft, you will have a high degree of ownership and impact on growing Lyft Rentals.

You will be responsible for pricing and yield management to fuel top-line growth. You will create dashboards, lead analysis, and deliver insights to improve our business. You will partner with local teams to figure out operational challenges and grow our fleet. You are data driven and detail oriented, but comfortable with ambiguity in a fast paced environment. • Manage day to day pricing of different vehicle classes and markets in an early stage system, including optimizing peak day revenue
  • Design pricing strategies based on internal learnings, competitive data sets and industry seasonality
  • Build reports, forecast, and report weekly performance to the team
  • Provide recommendations on ways to improve fleet utilization by partnering with local teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, marketing, and product teams to design and test promotional pricing and learn about price elasticity
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and insights into actionable recommendations. Present findings to guide decision making and business strategies

Experience:

  • 3+ years of analytical business experience (e.g. revenue management, pricing, consulting, investment banking, or equivalent)
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfort in fast growth, ambiguous environments
  • Cross functional collaborative style, low-ego
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to tackle complex issues and present clear recommendations
  • Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills
  • Proficiency in SQL is preferred
